Pilot

I chose the name for this blog for obvious reasons. Well, first of all, any clever names for a blog have been taken. Secondly, I feel like it relieves a little bit of the pressure for me to come up with clever things to say here. The very title of this thing warns the reader that whatever is read here may be mediocre. That is all I have to say for my first post.
